Last week I was introduced to Gorjana, an awesome and gorgeous jewelry designer based here in Cali. She was chatting about the gorg, good vibes line and her philosophies of the "Laws of Layering." Immediately obsessed. Gorjana's jewelry is chic and delicate and easy and looks great when you pile it on your bod... Because it is the opposite of overwhelming. We have all heard of the arm party. The blatant and flashy piled on bracelet situation of yesteryear. The Laws of Layering is the grown up super fem way of accessorizing. In these days of heavy ring-age, midi and pinky and otherwise, it seems nice to mix the thinner, delicate gold and silver moments with the chunky metals. It's a balancing act, but once you get it perfected, it is the most sophisticated way to accentuate your look of the day.
This is one of my all time favorite rompers from my archive. Phoebe Philo designed it for one of her resort collections for Chloe way back when. I pair it with my fave Celine sandals, again from Philo's early collections for her latest opus, and my classic everyday accessories. Crap Eyewear dominates my sunglass collection because they are affordable and chic, and I hardly ever leave home without my Isabel Encinias black diamond ring and Hermes Medor Watch. My fave necklace as of late is this Flower of Life sterling silver pendant with three crystals, Amethyst, Rose Quartz & Aventurine. Yep, I am a crazy hippy for sure.
