About Sally Lyndley:

The Dallas, Texas native began her career as a fashion show producer, where she handled clients such as Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Versace, and Ralph Lauren before taking a position at Vogue Paris under Carine Roitfeld. She later moved to London to become Senior Fashion Editor at Pop Magazine and later, the Editor-at-Large for Love Magazine where she worked with some of the most notable celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Rihanna. After transitioning into freelance styling full-time, Lyndley relocated to New York and was called upon by brands for her creative eye, collaborating with Saks Fifth Avenue, Marc Jacobs, 7 For All Mankind, Sephora, and BCBG Generation. Sally has contributed to several fashion magazines over the years, such as Love Magazine, V, US Vogue, Teen Vogue, Vogue Italia, POP, British GQ and Dazed & Confused. Her celebrity styling roster includes Drew Barrymore, Victoria Beckham, David Beckham and Kristen Wiig. Recently, Sally created the strategy and business organization for General Merchandise at Harley-Davidson Motor Company. She loves The Muppets, Alaia and motorcycles. 

1997: Model for the Elite Model Agency in New York City.

1998: Returns to hometown in Dallas, Texas, offered assistant stylist position at Dallas Morning News

1999: Appointed PR Director of Toni&Guy/TIGI Haircare. Launches Bed Head haircare line, achieving over 200 editorial tearsheets and product placement on Sex & the City and MTV’s TLR. TIGI’s revenue goes from $1m to $25m.

2001: Joins NYC powerhouse agency KCD’s production team as Fashion Manager. First Clients include: Versace, Sean John, Chloe, Louis Vuitton and Zac Posen. Continue with KCD to work with: Helmut Lang, Calvin Klein, Narciso Rodriguez, Anna Sui, Cartier, Victoria’s Secret and Marc Jacobs.

2002: Introduced P. Diddy to Zac Posen, which would ultimately end in investment for Zac Posen by P.Diddy’s partner at that time, Ron Burkle.

2004: Moves to Paris to assist stylist Marie Amelie Sauve at Vogue Paris. Clients included: Balenciaga, Chloe, Gucci, Estee Lauder and Oscar De LaRenta.

2005: Accepts position as Fashion Editor at POP Magazine under super-stylist Katie Grand, producing shoots, styling pages, placing advertising and managing credits and advertising relations.

2007: Returns to New York City to begin a freelance styling practice, styling for US Vogue and POP Magazine. Styles first magazine covers for POP and UK GQ. Styles Cynthia Rowley runway show, results in most positive runway reviews for designer and 100% increase in sales.

2008: Styles Drew Barrymore for Katie Grand’s final issue of POP Magazine. Drew buys entire clothing pull for her upcoming movie, Whip It, and her own wardrobe. Continues styling Cynthia Rowley’s runway show resulting in even better reviews and another 50% increase in sales. Styles Costello Tagliapietra’s runway show and Prabal Gurung’s first collection for Bill Blass, both ending in stellar reviews. Styles Jared Leto for the cover of GQ Style.

2009: Signs consultancy contract for J Brand working with CEO Jeff Rudes and Design Team. Voted Best Dressed by Vogue.com. Signs consultancy contract with Disney Consumer Products division, working on Toy Story 3, Tron, The Muppets, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and Small World. Kanye West’s management team offers Sally womenswear designer position, she turns it down to remain a stylist and consultant. Becomes stylist and consultant to Victoria Beckham for her collections. Beckham’s collections with Sally get rave reviews and sales rise 45%. Begins styling and consulting for BCBGeneration, driving the buying division and overall look and feel. BCBGeneration’s sales increase by over 60% and PR coverage rises by over 50%.

2010: J Brand launches the best selling trouser of all time, the “Houlihan”, during Sally’s consultancy. J Brand sells majority share to Star Avenue Capital over $50m. Sally creates a Fashion Week diary blog with Victoria Beckham for Love Magazine’s website, blog covered heavily by international press. Helps Victoria Beckham land WWD Cover during Spring/Summer NY Fashion Week. Beckham’s sales increase by 60%. Joins Charlotte Russe as a stylist consultant, increasing PR coverage over 100%. Styles 4 of 8 Love Magazine Covers with Gisele Bundenchen, Lauren Hutton, Agyness Deyn, Rosie Huntington. Starts a column for Fashionista. com called Sally’s Styling Seminary, with over 100k unique visitors. 

2011: Launches Assist Stylist, a stylist education project. Styles the Kardashians and also a Giorgio Armani Advertorial for Love Magazine. Victoria Beckham’s Fall/Winter 2011 show receives critical acclaim and her first handbag collections sells out in less than 30 minutes online. Voted one of 50 of New York Fashion’s Most Influential People by Fashionista.com. Voted best dressed at New York Fashion Week by Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and New York Magazine.  Styles resort collection for Marc by Marc Jacobs.  Appointed Editor At Large for Love Magazine. Styles Armani Exchange Fall/Winter 2012 Advertising Campaign. Works with Terry Richardson on Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen’s new line Stylemint.com.

2012: Styles the collections story with Katie Grand and Solve Sundsbo for Love Magazine Issue 7.  Styles Lindsay Lohan for Love Magazine Issue 7, shot by Terry Richardson. Styles Armani Exchange Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaigns.  Styles Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 Collection.  Styles Drew Barrymore for her Big Miracles Press Tour. Appointed Fashion Editor for Look TV.  Appointed Creative Director for Fashion Audio, LLC. Appointed Style Ambassador for Amanda De Cadenet’s The Conversation.com.

2013:  Styles Cara Delevigne, Edie Campbell, Ondra Hardin and more for Love Magazine story "Girlish" for issue 9.  Styles Nicole Richie, Noot Seer and Michelle Phan among others for US Vogue. Launches 56 videos on youtube to critical acclaim. Styles The Elder Statesman Spring 2014 collection.

2014: Styles Kate Upton for the cover of Love Magazine Issue 11. Styles Francesca Bonato & Nicolas Malleville for US Vogue May Issue. Launches thelyndleyreport.com. Continuing to style for Love Magazine and US Vogue.

2015: Styles Rihanna for W Korea and personal projects. Styles Natasha Poly for Lui Magazine Cover. Styles Camilla Rowe for Lui Magazine Cover. Styles for Saks Fifth Avenue and begins to style many of the images and ad campaigns for the company.  Style Erin Wasson for a Gucci Special in Vogue Japan.  Continue to style for Love Magazine & US Vogue.

2016:  Styles Selena Gomez for Love Cover and Vogue Australia Cover. Styles Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajowski and Jasmine Sanders for Love Covers and inside editorial. Styles Irina Shayk, Stella Maxwell, Barbara Palvin, Ashley Graham, Hailey Clauson, Cami Marrone, Gigi Hadid, Hailey Baldwin & Hari Nef for Love Magazine Video Advent Calendar. Styles Ad Campaigns for BCBGeneration, Saks Fifth Ave, Kohler & BKR. Continues work with Love, US Vogue & Saks Fifth Ave. 

2017: Styles Lena Dunham for Nylon Magazine Cover. Styles Gigi Hadid for Love Magazine. Continue to style and consult for Love Magazine & Saks Fifth Ave, Sephora & Marc Jacobs. 

2019-2020: Consults and creates the business, creative and marketing strategies and organizational design for Harley-Davidson Motor Company General Merchandise Department. Creates collabs with Neighborhood Japan, The Great Frog Jewelry, Rusty Butcher, Evil Knievel among others for Harley-Davidson.

2021: Styles Ad Campaigns for Ashley Graham & Quay Sunglasses, Essie Expressie Nail Polish & PMC Media. Launches Digital Coaching & The Drip Digital Shopping Guide.

2022: Launched Private Client and Virtual Styling Services via her website and is now focused on working with people and their closets.
