Barbour men’s jackets are 100% classic and I LOVE styling them on women. I mean you cannot fight a brand favored by Steve McQueen, even if you are a lady! On rainy days, I always pull out my Barbour coat! It was gifted to me by a dear friend, a dude, and the oversized fit works perfect to layer over fall clothing or spring dresses. I am not the biggest fan of their women’s collection, the fit looks dated and uncool, so I would steer clear there. I love all of the waxed cotton, quilted and puffer varieties in the deep colors. And their collaboration game is on point with some killer camo pieces with Bap and some military vibes with both Engineered Garments and CO. These are lifetime investment pieces you want to get in a size you know you will wear forever. Every time the storm blows in you will be reaching for these iconic jackets. For sizing I take one size larger in Menswear then my Womenswear size. Two sizes if I know I want to layer it over a suit or another jacket.
