I know there is always an eye roll when I mention Patagonia as one of my favorite brands, especially for causal and athletic clothing. Why? The commitment they have to quality and sustainability. “Sustainability” is not a trendy marketing word to Patagonia, it’s their longtime mission. I have several friends who work for them who have confirmed Patagonia’s words match their actions. Also, I just love the 80’s/90’s climbing vibes. I try to stick to black or the fun, whacky bright colors they produce. I love the second hand selling space they have on their website and that they offer repairs on their garments. I stick to the mens styles for me and my husband and always love the oversized fit for me of an XL. (I normally wear a Womens Medium.). The base layers are the only items I will rock in the Womens department. I have had some base layers from them that I love for 10 years and counting. The quality is real and the colors are fun! Perfect for layering over your basic sports bra and leggings/shorts.
