Fabrizio Viti

Fabrizio Viti was born and raised in the small Tuscan city of Carrara, known fondly for its abundance of marble. A strong female presence in his family, coupled with a love of fashion dolls and 1970s TV shows, informed young Fabrizio’s aesthetic world, which, later specialising in sculpture at Carrara’s art school, blossomed into a burgeoning talent for shoe design.

Over the next two decades, Fabrizio’s professional career saw the women’s and men’s shoes he designed steer both the luxury fashion industry and popular culture as he rose to become leading shoe designer at Gucci, then Prada, and in 2004, Louis Vuitton, where he continues to explore his passion as the House’s Shoe Style Director.

I met Fabrizio at Louis Vuitton when I was working there years ago and he is an absolute shoe genius, not to mention hysterically fun. When I found he was doing this own brand, I was over the moon. I love the easy, fun and super luxurious shoes he is creating.
