Alo

Why?  I would say Alo has taken the reins from Lululemon as the leading workout/yoga/running clothing brand.  With several sponsorships with some of the most influential athletes and celebrities, their domination is apparent.   The first time I saw the Alo brand was on one of my favorite Yogi women who specializes in Acro Yoga and handstands, I was in love with the brand.   I love the fabric options and colors, as well as their cuts. I think Alo makes the most fashion/interesting styled work out wear you can find, and their lounge collection is getting better every season.  If you are a gym bunny, trainer or full time Yogi, who wants to be a little more progressive or fashionable in your work out wear, Alo may be a perfect fit.   Alo also has the Alo Move division with great online workout options mostly based on the power style mode of Yoga and Pilates.

What?  Obsessed with the spit flare style & stirrup leggings at the moment.  I think these styles give a much needed update to the classic leggings we all have been wearing for years.  Overall, I love the leggings, shorts, looser fit pants, sweats and bras/crop tops.  I even like the asymmetric looser tops for layering on top on your bra and bottoms.  The colors are fabulous.   The fabric options are great for people who are very particular about shine, softness and compression.  I like to stick to the cleaner legging styles when it comes to busy seam details.  I have the moto leggings which are super cool vibes, but they leave hella indentation marks on my skin when I take them off.  If that doesn’t bother you then, all good.  I find this brand runs on the small size and so pay extra attention to their sizing guide when ordering for the first time.  I would stick with matching sets!  I also love their cropped jackets and sweatshirts for to and from the gym/studio.

Where? Alo’s website has the full range and size options.  Nordstrom, Ssense and Revolve also sell Alo if you prefer to shop with these retailers or you are looking for a size not available on Alo’s own site.
