Margaux NY

Why?  Margaux Ny is a shoe brand I came across a few years ago when I was on the hunt for a well priced ballet slipper made in Europe.  They have since expanded to a collection of chic and comfy classics.  The two women who founded Margaux wanted a focus on comfortable and stylish shoes available in extended sizing options and widths and Made in Spain of lovely materials.  This is a brand I am happy to support and love the easy, iconic styles they keep adding to their collection.  The heels are a wonderful height for anyone who walks all day or works on their feet, as well as anyone with foot health issues.   The whole collection is so chic, I could see Liv Tyler in Stealing Beauty or Jane Birkin wear any of these shoes.   They give off that French Girl cool I am constantly chasing.  

What? The ballet flats both round toe and pointed, Mary Janes, various Mules and Downtown Boots are my obsession.  The heeled sandals and boots are also the perfect height.  I love that Margaux also offers a bridal custom order service.  These are the ideal shoes for a bride due to the easy to manage heights.  And I LOVE a ballet flat or loafer with a wedding dress, chic chic chic!  

Where?  Margaux’s own website is the place to order these beauties.  Their direct-to-consumer business model allows them to offer their Spain made quality shoes to customers at half of the price of designer brands who sell to department stores.  Another reason I love this brand so much!  You get amazing quality for a very good price!
