Deus was introduced to me by my roommate when I lived in Venice Beach years ago. She was a barista there as well as a moto babe. When I started dating my husband, I went there to buy my first helmet, a Biltwell Gringo S, and fell in love with the Deus clothing collections. Over the years, I have purchased many jackets, moto gloves and sweatshirts for myself, and this is my man’s major go to for summer attire. I love the board shorts and Hawaiian shirts they make. My husband’s groomsmen even wore Deus shirts at our wedding. Deus Ex Machina was started by a couple of Australian dudes who had sold off a more commercial action sports brand. They wanted to combine surf, motorcycles and bicycles for one lifestyle brand, to reflect their beach lives. Deus now has locations all over the world like Bali, Japan and Italy. I love the easy style and cool graphics. It’s a go to for me for good wearable, everyday menswear.
