The tee shirt, and more specifically, the white tee shirt, has been a wardrobe staple for me as long as I can remember. There is nothing that adds a “cool” factor faster to a suit or pencil skirt than a good white tee. If white isn’t your color, I would go for the classic heather grey or black. The only draw back to heather gray is the easily noticeable sweat marks. Black is flawless but white gives that timeless vibe. If you choose white as your favorite mainstay for your perfect tee, be sure to have tons of Folex and Stain Devil on hand to keep it nice and clean! For the tee fit, I have three fits in my current closet. The first is a classic perfect fit, not too skinny, not too oversized, just the perfect fit and usually is the same as your regular dress size. Then I have baby tees, which I love with high waisted jeans, trousers and skirts, or if I am wanting to show a touch of skin! The third option in oversized! I am living in 2XL/3XL tees as dresses and paired up with a short or mini skirt!

Redone’s Hanes collab makes my absolute favorite tees! I have them in all of the fits and every color! I wear a Medium. I also love a beefy tee from Hanes if I am on a budget! I wear XS in mens/unisex for a tight fit, SM for a regular fit and 2XL for oversized! Brandy Melville is a best kept budget secret I use for work all of the time. They specialize more in the 90’s fit/baby tee world and usually only have one size. I go to them for my tight and cropped options. Also they are made in Europe at an awesome price! if you are after more of a tomboy fit, or you are shopping for a dude, RRL’s tees are it! Mate is my favorite for made in the USA, organic cotton options in super chic colors. General Standard is fully seed to showroom, fully owning the sustainability in supply chain and makes a killer basic tee for a very good price!
