Wardrobe Staple no 31 of 33: The Fleece.

Comfort and cool go hand and hand when you consider the Fleece jacket. Whether you go full front zip or pull over, the fleece has become a streetwear classic adapted from the climbing world. I tend to veer into the mens department for this jacket, as it always looks better oversized! If you are shopping for this in the womens department, go for cropped styles and interesting colors to give you a bit of cheer when the cold weather is in full swing. This is my favorite go to on cool days when a puffer is not quite needed, it adds a bit of nonchalance and menswear ease to any look.

Patagonia retro pile fleece and their pullover are my favorite fleeces of all time. I like the mens for a big overused moment and the womens for the colors. END Clothing, my favorite streetwear meets fashion website, has a killer selection of fleece in both mens and womens. The North Face is another classic with great shapes and limited edition colors, I tend to lean heavily towards the mens options here too.
