The Army Jacket

The army jacket is another classic for every wardrobe. No matter if you get the OG M65 from Alpha Industries, a great army surplus store find, a designer version or some great vintage jackets from Ebay, one thing remains the same, I always like an army jacket oversized. It’s meant to be long and boxy and anything fitted just looks super strange to me. The army jacket is a great edition for that masculine vibe that creates cool, or the “low” vibe that brings down the “high” in a good way. Go over-sized!! I put both Men’s & Women’s options below and in the links because I def think this is a good item to get in the men’s department! For a woman, gong into mens, I would take your womens size or one up for an oversized fit.

So I think the most classic options are the M65 from Alpha Industries, and they have a great selection of variations and fun fashion shapes. Dehen does great military vibes, and it’s made in the USA. Ebay would be my first stop if I was in the market for a new (old) army jacket and they probably have the best deals. You just have to be willing to scroll for the perfect option. Nili Lotan and Kapital do great designer versions, as does RRL. It’s so worth poking around Ralph Lauren world for an army jacket, he does his research when it comes to authenticity in military style. Madewell is great for those on a budget who don’t want to deal with Ebay, don’t forget the mens section. RVCA also has killer options at a good price.
